About

Patrick Lin graduated from York University, Toronto, Canada and received the Academic Achievement Award for his specialized honours in psychology (B.A. Spec. Hons.) in 2004. He then went on to complete his Master of Social Sciences (2007) and PhD (2015) in psychology at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He lectures research methods, statistics, and social psychology at JCU Singapore. Patrick’s main research interests are pertinent to interpersonal attraction and effects of priming. Currently, he is also looking at impact of social withdrawal and factors related to social withdrawal (Hikikomori phenomenon).
