Lidia Suárez is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and registered research supervisor at James Cook University (Singapore).  Lidia holds a PhD and MSSc from the National University of Singapore, a MPsych(Clinical) from James Cook University, a MBA from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and a BPsych from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is also a registered psychologist in Singapore and member of the Singapore Psychological Society. Her research interests include mindfulness, quality of life, psycholinguistics, second language acquisition, and memory. She has validated measures in Singapore, such as the World Health Organization Quality of Life questionnaire (WHOQOL-BREF) and others. She has published her work in journals such as Psychonomic Bulletin & ReviewMemory & Cognition, Quality of Life Research, and PLOS ONE.
