About

Torres Woolley is the Evaluation Coordinator at the School of Medicine and Dentistry. Torres has been an active researcher over the last 15 years in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. He has completed a Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and a PhD in skin cancer, with interests in all things rural, remote, Indigenous and tropical.

Other interests include project evaluations involving social network analysis and Geographic Information System technologies, and visiting an exotic tropical island each year.

Summary
While social accountability has fundamentally changed medical education, the lived experiences and practices of social accountability are less well known. Within the context of COVID-19, a group of researchers at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine are seeking to explore stories of social accountability across different medical schools and health systems across the globe by researching those whom are students and/or staff at schools of socially- accountable medical education.
