About

Kelsey is a Senior Lecturer in Education whose expertise includes education policy, curriculum studies and interdisciplinary projects in a range of fields including: teacher education, education system integration, citizenship and values education, history teaching, and service learning. Recent and current projects include service learning curriculum and pedagogy design  and holistic education to support student wellbeing. 

Since taking up her position in 2011, Kelsey's teaching and research has focused on student and teacher agency in the school and the community. Various projects have explored culture and identity within secondary education and higher education insitutions. Kelsey also has an interest in the scholarship of teaching and learning and of research education. 

Current Projects:

Project Lead: Strengthening models of Education and Health integration for wellbeing in learning communities in North Queensland

Project Team: She Maps Program Evalution (WISE Grant $65.000.00).

Project Team: Transition experiences of students from primary school to secondary school.
